Hello, my name is Hedda Forquer and I volunteer for Love Without Boundaries Foundation, a non profit organization dedicated to orphaned children in China.

In 2004, we published a coffee table style book on the Chinese adoption experience entitled “Love’s Journey”. This book raised over $100,000 in funds that were used to help orphaned children receive life changing surgeries, to fund new foster care programs, and to help with nutrition and education as well. We are now working on the second volume in this series, “Love’s Journey 2”. This new book will once again be a compilation of photos and essays from adoptive parents around the world, and once again 100% of the proceeds will go to help children in China.

One of the sections in this second book will be about the 16 countries which currently have agreements with the CCAA in Beijing. We would like to feature a photo and essay from each country if possible. We are planning to do a two page photo spread on these 16 countries, and are looking for a photo of a Chinese adopted child either with each country’s flag that does adoptions from China or else in traditional costume. We have submissions from almost every country, but Norge is not included yet. We would love to include Norge in our book, and so I am writing to see if any adoptive parents there would like to take part in this project.
