Gjest Lisa-P Skrevet 23. juni 2011 Del Skrevet 23. juni 2011 Dear Dr. Per H.Finne, I would like to ask you something about my kid. I have a little daughter at age 4. She is participating the kindergarden everyday. Today, after bathing her, we found on her head, there are quite few small lumps under the surface of the head(shallow). I have checked them, they are not red as the sign of regional infection, She doesn't complain with very bad pain or uncomfortable (not crying badly). And she behaves normally, no any irritation and could sleep and eat as normal. But she did say a bit pain/itching with the lump. I was a medical doctor a time ago... But i am not very sure with what is really going on with her, a little kid. Could you please help us out with this? Thanks a lot in advance! Yours Sincerely Lisa_P 0 Siter Lenke til kommentar Del på andre sider Flere delingsvalg…
Per H Finne, Professor i barnesykdommer Skrevet 26. juni 2011 Del Skrevet 26. juni 2011 It is difficult to give you a good answer.I undstand that the lumps are subcutaneous located (?). The sutures of the scull can give an impression of lumps when palpating, but no pain. Go to your old textbooks and see the location of the sutures.Follow the lumps and see if they gives pain as a sign on irritation or change in any way and show them to a doctor for further examination. Since she in eating, sleeping and behave normally I would not be afraid, but only a further examination of the scull can give you the answer. 0 Siter Lenke til kommentar Del på andre sider Flere delingsvalg…
