Wanonymous Skrevet 12. juni 2020 Del Skrevet 12. juni 2020 (endret) Jeg har skrevet innlegget på engelsk: I have no diagnosis and I’m not sure what I have but I joined this group hoping that somebody could give a hint to what could be going on. I’m a male in my 20s. I don’t remember exactly when this started but I basically remember waking up one day feeling funny, I didn’t feel well. It then progressed to feeling constantly low on energy, feeling tired. It further progressed to feeling very run down and sick all the time, I believe it’s called malaise. I have a constant desire to sleep, or close my eyes and disappear into sleep but I don’t always fall asleep when I try. I feel...drugged / zombie like, I’m never fully awake / alert. It’s as if I’m asleep and awake at the same time There is constant tingling all over body and there is sometimes a squeezing type of pain in my limbs. My memory is..strange. I know it’s common to forget things but it’s gotten to the point where I cannot even recall basic concepts that I’ve learnt. Let’s say I have had a course and gotten a good grade on it. Two months later I wouldn’t be able to answer the most basic questions on that course. I feel the information is there but I just can’t access it. I also have episodes where I forget what I just did, like mini black outs. Also feel confused / shaky for no reason. Also have digestive issues that have gotten worse and worse. It started with mild gas issues. Then it progressed to more pronounced issues. Then it progressed to not being able to eat certain foods. Now it has gotten so bad I struggle to find foods to eat, without either having mucus in stool or diarrhea or having lots of gas and abdominal discomfort. It got to the point where I had to stick to white bread with olive oil, chicken, rice milk, cooked vegetables and a few select food items. Tests done: Basic blood tests done: Vitamins and minerals, thyroid, cortisol, liver and kidney function, enzymes, thyroid, celiac disease, Lyme disease and other infections, diabetes, autoantibodies, etc Other tests: Gastroscopy and colonoscopy with biopsies (but no biopsies taken of colon), MRI of entire spine and head, EMG / NCS, ultrasound of abdomen, test for SIBO, lungfunction test, chest x-ray, MRI enterography (MRI of small bowel), stool calprotecin, parasites, etc I’ve seen at least 12 doctors and changed GP 4 times now. I would’ve just lived with it, I really would but it just isn’t possible anymore. I’ve had symptoms for 8 years now. Only abnormalities: I have acid reflux and take medication for that. My iron has been slightly low recently and so I’m on iron supplements. I have an elevated rheumatoid factor of 624 and slightly elevated IgM but no explanation found even after seeing rheumatologist. None of this makes any sense to me. Not a doctor, but, my first thought was poor sleep quality, and acid reflux can be a cause of that (not sure how effective the medications are) If you dont clean up the brain during the sleeping process, for example due to acid reflux waking you up over and over, maybe without you even noticing, the brain has to attempt to "clean up" during the awake period of the day, which leads to a very bad time. You could try to incline your bed to see if that helps improve the quality of sleep, like lift the side of the bed where your head is up preventing potential acid reflux flowing up to disrupt your sleep cycle, and dont eat or drink anything for some hours before bedtime. I have considered a sleep disorder but I don’t see how it would cause the tingling and digestive issues, as those aren’t symptoms of sleep disorders. I have bought a wedge pillow with about an incline of 6 inches but it hasn’t made much of a difference. I want to have a sleep study done but it requires a consistent sleep schedule and I haven’t been able to sleep consistently because of all these symptoms and more. 0 Siter Lenke til kommentar https://forum.doktoronline.no/topic/455358-hva-skjer-med-helsen-min/#findComment-3980995 Del på andre sider Flere delingsvalg…
