Dear Doctor,

I am Brazilian and my husband Norwegian.

We have been living in Brazil, but we are moving to Norway

by the end of November this year.

I have applied for a residence permit and will surely get it,

since we are under legal marriage and conditions are okay.

We have a daughter, born 19.04.1999. We will soon apply for barnebidrag.

My question to you is: after we apply and get the "barnebidrag" accepted,

will be be paid backwards to the day she was born or will we only get the

bidrag as of the day of the application?

Is there a site in teh internet I can read specifically about this too?
