The best source of information about your child's orphanage is the orphanage's discussion group. There you will find a group of people with first hand knowledge of the orphanage, photos, and a connection that will be invaluable for your family.

You can find your orphanage or province discussion group (as well as all the other China adoption discussion groups in 9 other categories) in the public access Links section of RaisingChinaChildren, a discussion group for families with preschool and school aged adopted Chinese children. It's at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/RaisingChinaChildren/links

I'd suggest bookmarking it for future reference.

If you don't find your orphanage there, consider starting a group.
